Lesson Plan: Jr. Aerospace Day Bowman Field March13

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could help with medical flight.
Taking someone to a hospital, any time of day or night.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could help to bring relief,
Food and water to people who need it, shelter and hope to move through grief.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could take you to the heights,
Teach you the skill and test your limits, breathtaking view and wonderful sights.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could help to study the earth,
A bird’s-eye view to count and locate, using the sky for all it’s worth.

If I were to pilot a glider, lift and thermals I would seek,
Silently soaring, skimming and touring, in an atmosphere so unique.

If I were to build an airplane, I’d be part of an interesting team.
Wood and fabric, friends and family, working toward our mutual dream.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could work to check the lines,
energy flowing to all the world, breaks and leaks we’d have to find.

If I were to pilot an airplane, when a question has to be asked,
for technical skill or personal contact, people need to get there fast.

If I were to pilot an airplane, farming has a need for me.
Crops need seeding, dusting and spraying. Aircraft do it wonderfully.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I might go the airlines route,
Across the world, in safety and comfort, so many people traveling about.

If I were to pilot an airplane, I could carry without delay
Bundles and boxes, parcels and crates. Anything gets there in only a day.
